ACSI now wishes to observe 'Leprosy week' from January 30th to February 6th 2017. Interested members particularly those working in medical colleges and hospitals are requested to perform free deformity correction surgeries and rehabilitate our leprosy patients. This can be done with the help of plastic surgeons /orthopedicians.

ACSI Academy conducted the first of the proposed series of dermatosurgery workshops at Srinagar on 5th December 2015. The workshop was conducted at CUTIS Institute of Dermatology, Srinagar and organized by Dr Imran Majid, Associate Professor Dermatology and Director CUTIS Institute Srinagar. A total of 52 delegates attended the workshop with postgraduates and all senior faculty members including ex-HOD Dermatology GMC Srinagar being among the attendees.
The Zonal Dermatosurgery workshop the 1st of its kind was conducted on the 23rd March 2016 at Hope Clinic Shillong. It gave an opportunity to learn various useful dermatosurgery procedures and hair transplantation. A total of 23 delegates participated from the NE states like Nagaland, Tripura Assam and Odisha.
